Daman and Diu Beaches - Beaches
in Daman and Diu is one of the major attractions of this
twin land located on the western coast of the India and the
sun kissed beaches with swaying coconut palms, soft sands
and ancient monuments draw a large number of tourists.
Beaches of Daman and Diu provide an ideal getaway amidst
powdery white sands with serene locales far from the hustle
and bustle of crowded beaches.
When you arrive here in the Beaches of Daman and Diu the
lashing waves ,coconut trees dancing rhythmically to the cool
breeze seem to mesmerize you .
Among the Beaches of Daman and Diu there is the
Devka (or Dwarka) Beach which is a virgin and picturesque
beach with a long shore-line . This is situated in the northern
part of Daman and is well known for its amusement park. The
amusement park which has a number of beautiful colorful fountains
which is simply breathtaking. This Daman and Diu Beaches has blackish sands
and you can just laze around here.
Jampore Beach lies about 3km south of Moti Daman and
this is an ideal place for swimming as well as other water
sports. You will enjoy walking on the soft wet sand, pony
rides as well fishing.
Chakratirth Beach is famous for its sunset point and
here there is an ancient Shiv temple which attracts a lot
of tourists. The landscaped and manicured gardens here at
the Chakratirth beach is surely going to charm you.
Nagoa Beach a small seaside fishing hamlet with a
horseshoe shape. The Nagoa Beach stretches for about 2km.
You will be able to view a rustic lifestyle of the fishing
village here .
