arranges an exhilarating Trip to Goa Package for a duration of sixteen
days in which we will be taking you to destinations like Mumbai,
Belgaum, Badami, Aihole, Pattadakal, Hospet, Hassan, Shravanabelagola,
Madikeri, Mysore, Srirangapatnam and Bangalore.
Day 01 - Arrive Mumbai
On your arrival in Mumbai our tour operator will receive you
and assist you in your transference to the hotel. After traditional
welcome check in into hotel where you will be required to
spend the night.
Day 02 - Mumbai
After breakfast you will be taking a half day tour of
Gateway of India. This triumphal arch that was built to commemorate
the visit of King George V and Queen Mary acts as the starting
point for exploration of the fascinating city of Mumbai. The
Elephanta Caves is about 9 kms by sea. Hewn out of solid rock
the Elephanta Caves date back to 600 AD. The cave temples
are dedicated to Lord Shiva and are perched atop a hill on
the island. The night is to be spent at the hotel.
Day 03 - Mumbai - Goa
On the third day of your trip to Goa you will be transferred
to the airport to board the flight to Goa. Upon your arrival
in Goa, you will be transferred to the hotel. You will be
spending the night at the hotel.
Day 04 - Goa
Be prepared to explore the city that is often touted as the
"Archaeologist's Delight". In the morning you will
visit North Goa and South Goa in the afternoon. Overnight
stay at the hotel.
Day 05 - Goa
The fifth day of your trip to Goa will be spent in quite a
relaxed way at the gorgeous and refreshing beaches of Goa.
You will be required to stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 06 - Goa - Belgaum - Badami (275 kms 6 hrs)
After having breakfast in the hotel, we will be departing
for Badami visiting Belgaum en route. Belgaum, nestled in
the foothills of the Western Ghats enjoys a cool and salubrious
climate and is embraced by the rivers, hills and dense evergreen
forests. There is a Fort right in the heart of Belgaum that
houses the renowned Kamala Basti, the Jain Temple & the
Jama Masjid. You will also be paying visits to the Kapileshwar
Temple and the Ananthashayana. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 07 - Badami
Badami is a fascinating place dotted with rock cut cave
temples, Gateways, Forts, Inscription and Sculptures that
recreates a portion of history before your eyes. You have
to ascend a flight of steps to reach the ancient caves, all
hewn out of sand stone on the precipice of a hill. The Bhutanatha
Temples are a must see and the placid lake immediately beneath
the cave temples derive its name from the temple itself. Badami
also has the eighteen inscriptions ranging from 06th to 09th
century. After an exhausting day out you will be coming back
to the hotel where you will be required to spend the night.
Day 08 - Badami - Aihole - Pattadakal - Hospet
On the eighth day you will be visiting Hospet enroute
via Aihole and Pattadakal. Aihole, the first capital of the
early Chalukyas is renowned as the "cradle of the Indian
Architecture". You will also visit Pattadakal that comprises
of ten major temples representing early Chalukyan architecture.
We will be proceeding towards Hospet. Overnight stay at the
hotel.
Day 09 - Hospet
We will be exploring the beautiful Hospet on the ninth
day. Hospet is of immense tourist importance because of its
proximity to Hampi to the site of the medieval Vijayanagar
Empire. You will be spending the night at the hotel.
Day 10 - Hospet - Hassan
On the tenth morning we will be heading for Hassan. On your
arrival at Hassan you will be checking in to the hotel. We
will be taking an excursion to Belur & Halebid that are
wonderful examples of Hoyasala architecture. The Chennakeshava
Temple is the most renowned temple in Hassan. It took nearly
103 years to complete the construction of this temple. The
temples of Halebid testify to the rich, cultural heritage
of Karnataka. You will be spending the night at the hotel.
Day 11 - Hassan - Shravanabelagola - Hassan
It's time to delight in the splendor of Shravanabelgola
about 51 kms south east of Hassan, which is famed as one of
the most important Jain Pilgrim centres. You will get to see
the gigantic monolith of Lord Bahubali that towers to a height
of 17 meter. It is infact the world's tallest monolithic statue.
You have the rest of the day at your disposal to explore the
surroundings. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 12 - Hassan - Madikeri
The twelfth day of your trip to Goa will find you proceeding
to Madikeri, a place that's promoted as India's answer to
Scotland. After shedding off the exhaustion of the travel
in your hotel room, we will be visiting the Madikeri Fort,
Abbey Falls and Nisargadhama. Reputed for its tranquil beauty
and the serenity that pervades the place, it is an ideal picnic
spot that is visited by hundreds of tourists all through the
year. Overnight stay at the hotel
Day 13 - Madikeri - Mysore
After having breakfast we will proceed to the exclusive locales
in Mysore. You will be checking into the hotel upon your arrival,
following which we will be visiting the Mysore Palace and
the Chamundi Hills. The Mysore Palace also known as the Amba
Vilas is the most attractive monument in Mysore. Towering
over the city, the Chamudi hills are 13 kms away from Mysore.
Halfway up is the Nandi bull, a 4.8m monolith. You will simply
fall in love with the Brindavan Gardens that transforms into
an enchanting fairyland in the evenings. You will be required
to stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 14 - Mysore
Prepare yourself for a visit to the Sri Jauyachamarajendra
Art Gallery that features a rich collection of exquisite paintings.
The art gallery is housed within the premises of the Jagmohan
Palace. During the afternoon, we will be visiting Somnathpur.
It is a small village where you can see the famous 13th century
temple well known for its great architectural beauty. The
star shaped temple with three shrines is the latest and well
maintained heritage of Hoyasala architecture. Overnight stay
at the hotel.
Day 15 - Mysore - Srirangapatnam - Bangalore
After your breakfast, you are to explore the captivating
environs of the place. In the afternoon we will be heading
for Bangalore enroute visiting Srirangapatnam Renowned in
history as the capital of Hyder Ali and his son Tipu Sultan,
Srirangapatnam abounds in magnificent monuments that definitely
warrants a special visit. In the evening, we will be driving
back to Bangalore. Upon arrival you will be checking into
the hotel where you will be required to stay overnight.
Day 16 - Bangalore - Mumbai
It's time to wrap up the memorable trip to Goa. We will
be exploring the "city of gardens". We will accompany
you to Vidhan Saudha that houses the States Legislature and
Secretariat. You will also be visiting the Nandi Temple which
is one of the oldest temples in Bangalore. In the evening
you will be boarding the flight for Mumbai. On arrival in
Mumbai, we will be transferring you to the International Airport
to catch a flight back home.
